Reef: an Update

Abstract

Reef is a framework for Seaside 3.0 that enables easily building of AJAX components and javascript extensions. Last year I presented my first attempts on this framework, this year I'm going to resume the Reef architecture, but also present an update of the work done within and talk about advantages and problems surged by using it in real applications.

Bio

Esteban Lorenzano, 39 years old. He studied Computer Sciences at Universidad de Buenos Aires (Argentina), and has worked since 1994 in several object oriented technologies (Delphi, CReef: an Update, Java), where he scaled from “Junior Programmer” to “Senior Architect”. On 2007 he and two friends began a new start-up, Smallworks, an enterprise for agile developments centered on Smalltalk. He is also teacher of System’s Architecture at Universidad Tecnológica Nacional (Argentina).
