bring your laptop! we'll [try to] boot it up with SqueakNOS, no persisten installation needed!

If you want, bring also the low-level documentation about some hardware device, and we'll work on implementing the needed code to support it in SqueakNOS. Good examples are:

  • USB Host devices
  • Network cards (wired or wireless)
  • Sound hardware
  • Hard Drives
  • Video Cards
  • DMA busses

Finding documentation is not easy, if you can prepare it ahead of time, better. A good source, if you can read C, is the linux sourcecode, but we again recomend you take a look before coming, so you can invest the time inside SqueakNOS instead of in a boring text editor reading C.
