ESUG 2006 Call

Call for contributions for the 14th International Smalltalk Conference

Monday 4th - Friday 8 September 2006 Prague, Czech Republic

http://www.esug.org

For the past 14 years, the European Smalltalk User Group (ESUG) has organised the International Smalltalk Conference, a lively forum on cutting edge software technologies that attract people from both academia and industry for a whole week. Every year, around half of attendees are engineers using Smalltalk in business while the rest of the attendees are students and teachers using Smalltalk both for research and didactic purposes.

As every year, this years' edition of the largest European Smalltalk event will include the regular technical program with renowned invited speakers. In addition, we'll have a research track with an excellent program committee, a business day about successful use of Smalltalk in business, and a technology award event where prizes will be awarded to authors of best pieces of Smalltalk-related projects.

THIS YEAR we are looking for YOUR EXPERIENCE REPORTS using Smalltalk, so please come and tell others about your experience and projects.

Student Volunteers

Are you a student, and do you want to attend ESUG (the premier European Conference on Smalltalk)? This year, ESUG again has a student volunteer program you can apply for. Your duties will be few, and you will have to help the local organisers. ESUG does not reimburse travelling costs, but you will have a free entrance to the conference. Depending on the number of students the hosting will possibly also be free.
